I had not left Jason for even one night in 14 months...so it was a bit difficult leaving Jason for 9 nights! We are so thankful for our parents who spilt the week and each had time with Jason! We knew he was in safe hands and would have lots of fun!
Our trip was February 28-March 9
We stayed at a beach house on the water in Oceanside. The house was amazing and we had a wonderful time! The weather the first few days were overcast and about 60 but then every day got warmer and sunny! We slept, exercised everyday, ate some good food, had a fun activity almost everyday and got a tan!
Feb 28-Friday: flight was at 5:30, we got there about 8:30, got the rentals vehicles(2-12 passenger vans and a minivan) and got to the house about 11:30. To bed I went but everyone else went to the In and Out Burger.
March 1-Saturday: first day there and a day to do what we wanted! We rested and took a walk!
March 2-Sunday: trip to Los Angeles. We went to the original farmers market
attempted to go to Hollywood but didn't make it far because it was the night of the oscars!
drove through Beverly Hills,
And went to the UCLA campus
March 3-Monday: Morning walk to the pier which was about a mile from the house
Then off to Seaworld
Wild to see so many lanes of traffic
Pretty sunset!
March 4-Tuesday: USS Midway
Then we had a late lunch, ate traditional Korean BBQ. I like to try new things but it was not my favorite!
March 5-Wednesday: Balboa park
Army run
AND San Diego Zoo
And Coronado island and dinner in the Gas Lamp District
March 6- Thursday: La Jolla, paragliding and Tori pines
March 7-Friday: met my aunt Chris and aunt Diane at tori pines, we had a hike and a great visit!
March 8-Saturday: free day. We soaked up the sun and relaxation
March 9:Sunday was traveling home. My parents were at our house with Jason when we got back but didn't see them until the morning cause we got in about midnight. Seeing Jason in the morning was the best! We missed him so much!
