Home, 28 weeks

We had a relaxing Friday night at home! We took advantage of the perfect fall weather and enjoyed a campfire with Paul's co-worker!


Saturday, Paul winterized the boat, we did a little house work/yard work, and went through some bins of baby items. A productive day!

And today, we ran a bunch of errands getting stuff for around the house and even got a little Christmas shopping done! Then we took a walk at Mississippi River Park and enjoyed the beautiful weather and fall leaves!





A baby bump picture at 28 weeks....which is now the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy!


Can't believe I'm in the last trimester! We are in the middle of projects...getting the upstairs bathroom tiled, carpets cleaned, and baby room put together! Anxious for it to all be done!

Excitement

Paul received his diploma from the University of Cincinnati for his Masters of Education in Educational Leadership!




And, we got the baby's going home from the hospital outfit!
Boy?!?!




Or girl?!?!




It'll be an amazing surprise!

Frederic WI

Weekend with my parents!

The leaves are already changing and my parents have an awesome view of the colors from their living room!


Paul and my dad spent most of Saturday making a new trail in the woods on their 40 acres and cutting wood for campfires.


My mom and I hung out and I helped her with a project. And Darpy relaxed!



We enjoyed some tasty food...My mom made an awesome peach pie and dad made great chili! We had a great weekend!








27 weeks!


Thanks for all the wood! We look forward to more campfires!

Fun filled weekend

Friday:
I had a stressful week, so after work I treated myself to a McDonalds fry and pop! Then Paul came home and we had a blizzard, then took a nap which was needed because we had a full night ahead of us: Paul an Lauren Mellick came to visit! We went out to eat at a restaurant in St. Joe called Bello Cucina, then came home and had a campfire. We had smores, they had drinks and we visited late into the night!





Saturday:
We initially thought we were going to go to the St. John's vs St. Thomas football game (since Paul works at SJP and Paul Mellick works at UST), but there was estimated to be about 12,000 people there. So, we seized the beautiful 80 degree day and took the boat out on Big Fish Lake. It was a great afternoon!





Wonderful friends!


They headed home and Paul and I had a low key night at home watching some tv shows.

Sunday:
We worked on some house projects, did some cleaning, and ran errands. We also had some visitors. Paul's friend from middle school came over with his family for a visit! Paul's parents also came over. Paul and Pierre finished the light install in the attic access and Margie and I had a nice visit.

And to end the weekend, a baby bump picture at 26 weeks!

MD appt + Pierre visit

I had my 25 week doctor appt on Monday, September 10. Everything went well! Baby is growing healthy, measuring right on target and heartbeat of 154! Next appt I get to look forward to the glucose screening to check for gestational diabetes...so my MD reminded me to eat healthy, lots of fruits and veggies and advised me to stay away from sugary treats. I'll do my best :0)

Tuesday night, Pierre came over and helped Paul install a light in the attic access. We were thankful for the help!

Sturgeon Lake and 24 weeks

Paul got up bright and early Saturday morning and started working on refinishing the trailer.



He finished in a few hours and it looks great!



The we took the boys out in the boat! They seemed to have a great time!








We relaxed a bit and the boys hit the water.

Then another boat ride after dinner!






We woke up, went to church, and had lunch. Then Renee and I sat in the sun while the Paul, Luke and the kids took another boat ride! It was a great weekend of visiting and having fun with Pierre, Margie, Renee, Isaac, Aidan, and Luke!

And if course a baby bump picture to end the weekend...24 weeks! I can't believe I'm 6 months already

Busy week

Monday night: meeting with the tile guy who will be tiling the upstairs bathroom! Can't wait for him to start but I have to patiently wait until sept 24!

Tuesday: our last Twins game of the season! We met Paul's parents at Pizza Luce, shared an awesome pizza, then walked to the game. Great night but the Twins lost to the Mariners.








Wednesday: family time with Tim, Renee and Luke and the Regel's

Thursday: met with our new daycare provider! We met with Amanda to sign a contract to hold our spot for the baby! We are so happy to have found her! She was a teacher in a center, then started her own in home daycare. She has great energy, very creative and hands on, and only about 5 miles from our house!

Friday: traveled to Sturgeon Lake with the boat for the weekend!

Now time to relax!
